Help with a Fujifilm S5000 digital camera. I went to take some pics the other day and the camera will not…..

display anything on the screen and it will take a pic but there is just a black screen. anyone else have an issue like this in the past? I went to the Fuji website and checked the manual but it gives no hints on what to do.
