SD Card not working with Digital Camera?

Hi, I have a Fujifilm A860 and it only allows me to take 12 pictures at a time, so i got a SD card (512mb) out from my PSP. When i stick it in my camera it doesnt say i have the SD Card in.how do i do it?

You need to format it in your camera, and then use it only in the camera.
