I am having problems with my new Fuji Finepix S1000fd camera.?
Th LCD screen shows a good image, but when i take the photo it comes out grainy and grey and green. Is this a fault and i should return or is it easily fixed. I have searched the manual and no answer?
Question answered!! There is a faulty sensor which is why it was doing this. Camera now returned!!

There are so many variables with this question its impossible to be specific, can you post some pictures somewhere?
Are you looking at the output on a monitor or print?
If its a monitor do pictures not taken on your camera look OK?
It could be you have the in camera settings for converting to Jpeg way off, reset to default in menu and start from there.
The picture on the LCD is only a low resolution ‘thumbnail’ its not till you view them at full resolution on a monitor that you see what you’ve actually got.
