Which digital camera to buy!?

I am looking to buy a digital camera for my boyfriends birthday. I call the ones he likes the ‘retro’ looking ones (with zoom on front coming out of camera – not very good with cameras, sorry!!)

This is the camera I have. I like all the features Plus it’s true high definition. And it wasn’t that expensive. I’m not sure how much it would cost where you are though.
